India Seatrade and Federation of Indian Export Organisations (FIEO) are gearing up to organize its flagship event “Cargo Connexions Conclave” today by Tamara, Coimbatore.

Cargo Connexions Conclave – Coimbatore is a unique platform, which brings shippers in direct contact with service providers to bridge information gaps and share pain points. This forum will support the efforts of service providers to serve their customers better and provide opportunities to find new customers.

Hon’ble Minister for Electricity, Prohibition and Excise, Shri Senthilbalaji is the Chief Guest for the event. The conference will be attended by luminaries from ports, Customs, Railways and trade, including Mr. Susanta Kumar Purohit, IRSEE, Chairperson, V.O.C Port Authority, Mr. B. Kasiviswanathan. Chairperson of Cochin Port Authority, Mr. K. Vijayakrishnavelan, IRS, Additional Commissioner of Customs Preventive Tiruchirappalli, Mr. Anand Mohan Mishra, ITS, Joint Director General of Foreign Trade, Mr. Gopalakrishnan, Regional Chairman, Federation of Indian Export Organisations, among others

Coimbatore and nearby areas Tirupur, Salem, Erode, Pollachi, Karur, Rajapalayam, and Madurai which are known for the presence of manufacturing industries in various sectors will soon benefit from modern logistics facilities.

The event has over the years brought together industry experts, professionals, and thought leaders, policymakers, and regulators, as well as shippers and consignees, to deliberate on topical issues impacting the region and beyond, exchange ideas, build valuable connections and network. The Conclave will feature keynote speakers and panel discussions that will deep dive into critical subjects and areas.

Importantly, the Cargo Connexions Conclave 2025 comes at a time when India’s economy continues to ascend toward a prosperous future. The country is set to register a remarkable growth of over 7 percent in 2023-24, exceeding the earlier projections by the RBI, driven by a strong focus on all-around infrastructure development, private consumption, manufacturing and construction, and exports, among others. This augurs well for the logistics sector, which itself is being given a tremendous policy and regulatory impetus.
